In Part IV we used TINA SPICE to analyze noise in op amp circuits. The
example circuit used for TINA SPICE analysis was also used in the hand analysis
example from Part III. The result from hand analysis and TINA SPICE closely
matched each other. Here in Part V, we introduce the different types of
equipment used for measuring noise with specifications and modes of operation
pertinent to noise measurement discussed. Although specific models of equipment
are considered, the concepts can be applied to most equipment. In Part VI
we will show real-world examples of how the equipment is used to measure
the circuits described in Parts III and IV.
